TERMS and CONDITIONS

 

These terms and conditions govern all dealings between INTEGRAL TRADITION PUBLISHING (‘us’) and its customers, be they sellers or buyers (‘you’), unless otherwise agreed.

 

The Contract

1. Your order (and not the items on our web-site) constitutes an offer. Our confirmation (headed ‘Order Update’) of your order constitutes our acceptance of your offer. A contract between us and you comes into being when you receive the said confirmation.
2. All prices are listed without VAT. VAT is added at checkout to orders from within the European Community. VAT rates vary from country to country. Local rates are charged. No VAT is charged with orders from outside the European Community.
3. If we do not have some of the items you order on stock the contract will be deemed to not to include those items, but will still exist in relation to such items as are available. We will, in such circumstances, contact you for further instructions.
4. If the price of an item is different from the price displayed on our web-site we will charge the lower price (if the actual price is lower than the price on our web-site), or contact you for instructions (if the actual price is higher than the price on our web-site).

 

Shipping

1. Orders to Denmark will be shipped at the following prices and delivered within fourteen days:

Returns

1. If you are a private customer you may return any items purchased from us within fourteen days of receipt. We will refund your order within thirty days, provided the goods we receive from you are in the same condition as they were when we sent them to you.
2. If you are a private customer residing within the European Community you have a statutory seven-day ‘cooling off period’ in addition to your fourteen-day right of return. This means you can return the goods within twenty one days.
3. If you are a business customer you have no right of return, unless such a right has been expressly agreed to by us in writing, for example by e-mail.
4. You are a ‘private customer’ if you are considered a “consumer” under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, as amended. Otherwise you will be deemed to be a business customer.

 

Newsletters &c

If you make an order with us we will assume that you consent to receiving newsletters detailing amendments to our catalogue, special offers and the like. If at any time you request that we stop sending you newsletters we will immediately do so.

 

The Use of Our Web-Site

1. We have the exclusive right to the content of our web-site. Nothing found on our web-site may be used for such purposes as would be contrary to our copyright ownership. This includes copying and other illegitimate use.
2. We do not necessarily agree with the views and opinions expressed by the authors or other third parties on our web-site, in our publications or otherwise. This includes any opinions given in reviews of books. Accordingly, we cannot be held liable under any ‘hate speech’ laws (or the like) of any jurisdiction for the utterances referred to.
3. We will not give your personal details to any third party. Nor will we keep your credit card details. We will, however, keep your personal details for our records and for our own use for a period of a minimum of five years.

 

Amendments, Frustration &c

1. We reserve the right to amend these standard terms and conditions as we see fit and at any time.
2. We will not be liable for events beyond our control, such as, for example, delayed deliveries, interference by customs, or the like.
3. If we have a right to do something but do not make use of that right we shall not be deemed to have waived the said right.

 

Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions and all dealings between us and you shall be conducted according to the laws of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed.
